Julie Fette in Paris
Throughout October, Julie Fette, Associate Professor of French Studies, visited the Université Sorbonne Paris Nord on a Foreign Scholar Fellowship. On October 14, she presented her new work on the politics of children’s literature in France and the United States to faculty and graduate students. Her talk, “Ils sont fous ces Américains! Albums de controverses,” analyzed censorship and cancel culture in the world of children’s literature.
