On March 22, 2019, Fatima Baig represented Rice University at the German Career Day. Attended by more than 500 students of German from local high schools across the Houston region, the Career Day reflected once again the growing interest in studying and working in Germany. Students were able to discuss their future careers with representatives from United Airlines, prominent engineering firms, and with some of the biggest global players in renewable energy, such as Deutsche Windtechnik.
